{ WILDFLOWER MINIS } Triad Children's Photographer

A spare lemonade stand, an over-grown perennial flower bed, a set of gorgeous lace buntings from Dinner Time Chimes, my favorite flower - the Daisy (and yes, that's why my dog's name is Daisy Mae), and some super cute kiddos...and the Wildflowers Mini theme was born! 

I was thinking that this might have to be a girly theme, but when the little cutie below hung out in front of the stand, I realized that it works EQUALLY well for the little guys, too!  I had envisioned this theme with pastels and slightly washed out images, polar opposite from the colorful Lemonade minis that we just finished up - and everything fell perfectly into place with the lovely series of fantabulous images below...

Winston Salem Senior Photographer { Abby }

Class of 2013 - new locations, new session add-ons, new modern products, new fun! 


I had a blast working with Abby on her senior portraits!  She was such a gorgeous and photogenic girl - and SO easy to work with!  The locations we chose worked beautifully with her outfits :)  Her hair and make-up looked amazing and was done by professional hair and make-up artist Erin Blakley (erinblakley.com).  If you would like to add-on hair and make-up to your senior session, please let us know at the time of booking.

Winston Salem Newborn Photographer { Wee "E" }

Oh my!  Wee little "E" was such a smiley little one! 

Two weeks new and an UBER sleepy-head, "E" slept through everything.  A wooden wagon, a doll bed, a basket, hats, headbands, wardrobe changes.  I giggled at "E" smiling so much - she's such a girly girl already ♥

Winston Salem Newborn Photography { Baby J }

I SO loved working with this cute little guy ♥

Baby "J" came all the way from DC - and slept almost the whole session, even at 5 weeks new!  This little guy's dad loves aviation, so I was UBER excited to be able to use our aviation props for "J"s session!  Baby "J" was such a smiley and happy little guy!

Winston Salem Pet Photographer - Dog Park Minis!

{ FURRY FRIENDS - Limited Edition Mini Sessions }

We ♥ furry family members - and we're celebrating the Dog Days of Summer with mini sessions :)

Sessions will be outdoors on location at Horizons Park in Forsyth County - around 5 miles North of Winston Salem.  Horizons Park is a large PET FRIENDLY local park with an off leash dog park and lots of shady scenic locations that we love.  For more information and directions to the park, visit their website here

Winston Salem Newborn Photographer { Tiny "A" has arrived! }

Tiny "A" has finally arrived! 

She was such a little sweetheart! After waking up for a quick snack, she went right back to sleep and almost slept through the WHOLE newborn session!  At just 5 weeks new, she was still a wee little one with the sweetest pout and the creamiest pink skin! 

Such a wee girly girl, I had to share all that sweetness ♥

LEMONADE MINIS! { Triad Children's Photographer }

Our cutest, colorful-est, fun-est, yummy-est Minis EVER!

We had two UBER cute models for our Lemonade Mini trial session - and it was fabulous!  The two little lovlies below spent the morning at our studio having lemonade and cooling off in the shade.  They had a blast, we had a blast, and the shots are so fun and colorful!  We'll be announcing the date of our Lemonade Minis soon, so be sure to bookmark our blog, or like us on Facebook to get first dibs on our limited spots minis.

Yes, I know this is a loooong sneak peek post, but I had to share the cuteness, so grab a cup of coffee and enjoy :-)

My amazing husband created this adorable lemonade stand from totally recycled materials and it was SO easy!  He used old canvas frames (photos removed) that used to be displayed in our studio - a 20x30 for the top, and two 20x20s for each side, secured with brackets and wood screws.  Then we picked through tons of free pallets* (see note at bottom of post for safety!) to find the ones with the gray, weathered look that I was going for, and our buddies at Buffalo Creek Farm & Creamery gave us a big plank of recycled wood for the top, which also had the weathered look (thanks, guys!).  Our fun, colorful flag buntings and handmade aprons were created by the talented Erin Thompson at Dinner Time Chimes.

T has the most amazing eyes!  And he's such a little flirt :-)

*Pallets are free and easy to find, but *FYI - be careful when picking them.  Most pallets have been treated for insects and pests, and will have a code on them.  Look for a stamp - HT means they have been heat treated, and those are safe to use, but some older pallets may be stamped with MB.  Please avoid MB, which means they have been treated with methyl bromide, which can be dangerous for children.
