Oh my, it's already that time again!  Holiday Minis!

This year's fun theme is { Warm & Toasty }

Get into the holiday spirit with our 2012 Holiday Limited Edition “Warm & Toasty” theme complete with hot chocolate, marshmallows, peppermint swirls and falling snow!

Sessions by appointment only - no walk-ins!

October 15th - December 8th

10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. daily.

• enjoy a fast & fabulous 20 minute session at our studio •

• includes 9 -15 fully retouched images to choose from •

• $35.00 session fee for one child, add $5.00 for each additional child in the same session •

• receive Special Pricing on Holiday print/card packages •

• a fun new option for your holiday images - add "Frosty Frames" for just $3.00 per image •

*No liquids will be used during session, so no worries about getting messy! Please let us know if it’s okay for your child to have marshmallows prior to session.

We recommend dressing your child in either Christmas pj’s or a casual winter outfit with boots, hat and scarf.  We do NOT recommend formal holiday clothing for this session theme.

*PLEASE NOTE:  We will NOT be booking any holiday sessions after December 8th to allow us time to get caught up on edits.  All orders must be received by Dec. 15th to ensure holiday delivery.

{ ORDERING DEADLINES }

*Custom Framing must be ordered no later than November 28th to ensure delivery on on before December 21st.
*Custom Ornaments and Jewelry must be ordered by December 1st or we can not promise that it will arrive in time for the holidays.
*Fine Art Canvas Gallery Wraps must be ordered by Saturday, December 8th.
*I'm sure you know that custom products (such as Holiday cards, Storyboards, Accordion Albums, and Storybooks/Brag Books) DO take a couple of days for creation, editing, proofing and making changes, etc., especially during busy times, such as the holidays. These customized products HAVE TO BE FINALIZED and sent to print by Saturday, December 15th in order to get them back before Christmas.
*All other prints and mounted prints must be ordered by Saturday, December 15th in order to get them back before Christmas.

The studio will open for pick-ups (by appointment only) through Friday, December 21st at 5pm, and then we will be closed throughout the holidays and will not reopen until Wednesday, January 2rd, 2013.

Locks of Love Hair Donation Drive!

Donate your hair to Locks of Love! I did it two and a half years ago, and it was a wonderful feeling :)



Fantasy Photography is teaming up with Silk Road Salon and Spa in Winston Salem to collect hair to be donated to Locks of Love (http://www.locksoflove.org​/) to be made into wigs for children who suffer hair loss from many different medical conditions.

Help us reach our goal of collecting 100 feet of hair for this wonderful cause!

August 16th - ONE DAY ONLY - from 10am to 5pm.

Haircuts are $40, includes wash and style and add a conditioning treatment for $10

Little "M" the Ladybug! { WINSTON SALEM CHILD & BABY PHOTOGRAPHER }

I ♥ my job!

Little "M" is on our Bella Bebe program, so she came in for her 9 month session...and she was SO playful! She screamed and yelled and chatted as she played - we laughed so hard at her screaming and playing! I really believe she's been the loudest of babies in the studio so far! I giggled so much that I had to stop shooting a couple of times! She was crawling, so she kept us on the move chasing her...but I wouldn't have it any other way :-) That's what I love about my job! You never know what to expect with babies and children - every one is unique and has their own personality - so working with children, you never shoot the same session twice :-)

Little "M" was busy, but she stopped long enough to let us dress her in a red and black petti tutu with wings and antennae...wasn't she just the cutest little Ladybug?

Miss "H" & Spring! { Winston Salem Child Photographer }

I was SO excited to finally have warm weather to get outside and shoot again! Our Forsythia shrubs are in full bloom, and we have lots of other things starting to pop up! Miss "H" was patient for her four year session, while we did a few shots in the studio in her new dress, but she couldn't wait to go out to play! I gave her one of our paper parasols to play with, and she really had a hard time controlling it because of the wind, lol! I still got some really great shots with it and her hair blowing in the wind :-)






I always have to do some of Miss "H"'s portraits in Chocolate and White - she just looks amazing!

{ ANNOUNCING } Easter Bunnies Limited Edition Mini Sessions!

Live bunnies, fresh flowers, hats and baskets means that Spring is just around the corner!

For our Easter Children's Portraits, Sunday dress is best! This is an outdoor session featuring live bunnies and bunny rabbits. We recommend Easter dresses, khaki pants and dress shirts or polo shirts, or simple cotton dresses and bare feet for this theme.

From April 1st through 10th, 2011. Sessions last 20 minutes and are VERY limited, so book early to secure your spot!

Appointments will be available from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day!

Session fee is $35.00 for one child. Add $5.00 per additional child in the same session.

Recommended for ages 6 months (sitting up unassisted) to 6 years.

Little Miss "C" { Winston Salem Baby Photographer }

Little Miss "C" came in for her one-year session, and I couldn't believe how much she had grown since her last session! She brought the cutest little rocking chair for her session, and was happy to sit in it! She always has adorable and sassy little outfits - I loved the denim outfit she wore with the cropped jacket! It was TOO cute!

Mom loves tutus, so we've done a different color each time she has came in for a session (even red for Christmas!), so this time we tried purple...and Miss "C" was BEAUTIFUL in purple! I love the way the purple looked with her skin tone and her big blue eyes!

Sweet little "J" came in for his 8 month session...and he was all over the place! Little "J" was scooting, crawling, pulling up and standing already! He kept us busy chasing him all over the studio! I just loved his little paw print camo overalls! Sooo cute! I love this age - babies are beginning to try to talk, play and start developing all the characteristics of their personality :)

Four Generations of Pretty Girls! { Winston Salem Family Photographer }

I was so excited to have the opportunity to create this very special family portrait. Four generations of beautiful ladies! It was a really HOT evening, but the session went perfect and the shots I got were GREAT :-) It was fun to work with these girls and get to know them, plus see the love they shared for each other. I had grandma and great-grandma hold hands and they were just filled with giggles, and talked about how long it had been since they had done that. It was a great feeling to see them do it again for the first time! It was also fun to let little "A" choose her own pose and have grandma do it with her. I love letting children choose a shot to do the way they want to do it and make it fun for them!

Beautiful Miss "H" { Winston Salem Children's Photographer }

I can not believe how gorgeous this little girl was! She behaved SO well...I didn't even have to break out the secret weapon (the squawking chicken) or bribe her with candies! We did part of her session in the studio, then went outdoors to get a few shots in the field behind the studio. The shots turned out wonderful in color...but AMAZING in chocolate and white! I had this adorable little girl come to my studio for her 6 month portraits. She was SO gorgeous and I still can't believe she had so much hair! It was past her shoulders already! Did I mention I ♥ tutus? Here is a sneak peek from her session :-)

I had so much fun with Little Miss "E" and her mom this morning during their session! We laughed a lot, got some adorable shots, and I really enjoyed getting to know them! We had sooooo much in common, and our personalities just "clicked"! Mom is SO creative and talented, I'm going to have her create some new custom tutus, bows and newborn props for me :-) Plus, she will be available for hair & make-up for our boudior sessions!
