Halloween Food Drive - We did it!

 

 

We did it!  We surpassed our food count collection amount this year by 75 items - we collected 247 total items for the food pantry at East Stokes Outreach Ministry!  I am so excited that we were able to collect even more food at our Halloween food drive this year than last year - and we couldn't have done it without our amazing clients.  You guys are so wonderful - sending a huge { thank you } and hugs to each and every one of you who brought your little one in their costume and participated this year.

We dropped the food off at the Outreach Ministry on Friday morning, the day after our food drive, and everyone was so grateful for the donations.  We have been seeing posts in our newsfeed on Facebook from the Outreach Ministry that their pantry is extremely low and they've had to turn people away.  We hate to see things like that happen - you don't have to wait for our food drive each year to donate...you can donate any time of the year to their pantry, and they can definitely use it :-)

  Six years of our annual food drive, and we've collected more and more food each year.  I truly enjoy having the opportunity to do this every year - spending time catching up with clients, meeting new people, and being able to give back to the community at the same time means the world to me.  Again, we wouldn't be able to do this without the thoughtful and caring people who attend our event each year - THANK YOU guys!  I am really looking forward to doing it again next year!
