2017 Halloween Food Drive - Results!

Every year, we celebrate Halloween with a fun charity food drive at our studio - this is our 10th year - and once again, we are so grateful to have the amazing clients that we have who participate in our event and help out our community :-)  Oh my, I can't believe I just typed 10th year!  It's crazy how fast time has gone by and that we've been doing this so long!

We loved seeing old clients and catching up, and meeting new clients and seeing all the costumes!  The outreach had just posted on Facebook on Halloween day that their shelves were bare and were in dire need of donations, and you guys couldn't have helped at a better time. 

Oh my goodness, you guys, I am so happy to say that our final count came to 407 items!  

We are so excited to have the opportunity to do this event every year for East Stokes Outreach Ministry.  You guys are so amazing and I can't thank each and every one of you enough for caring about the community and participating in our event this year!

We're currently working on images this afternoon and will be emailing them out as quick as we can.  All of the food has been sorted and will be dropped off at the food pantry tomorrow!  Look for an email from us in late Winter/early Spring for our Annual Pet Food Drive which will also benefit East Stokes Outreach Ministry.  We hope to see you again!

Halloween Food Drive & Open House

October is here...which brings along gorgeous foliage, warm sweaters, cozy blankets, cooler weather and pumpkin everything...and Halloween! Every year, we celebrate Halloween with a fun charity food drive at our studio - this is our 10th year! We're super excited to be able to do it again and can't wait to see what our little clients come dressed as this year :-)

Last year, we collected 428 total items for the food pantry at East Stokes Outreach Ministry - that's over double of what we've collected most years! But, this year we want to collect even more! Please invite and bring your friends and share our information to get the word out so that we can collect as much food as possible during this event!

Bring your child or pet to our studio on Halloween evening to our Open House and Food Drive in their Halloween costume, enjoy snacks and drinks, grab a goodie bag, pose for a quick photo and receive a free digital image emailed to you!

**THE CATCH?** We're requiring you to bring a minimum of TWO BAGS of food PER CHILD to be donated to East Stokes Outreach Ministry. More than two bags are not required, but would be happily and gratefully accepted :)
Can be cans, boxes, bags, but please NO out-of-date food!
Dog food and cat food is also needed!

With your help, we can make a difference and knock out hunger!

8th Annual Pet Food Drive { dog photographers winston-salem }

It's time for our 8th annual pet charity event and food drive!  I look forward to this event every year, when I get to spend a day rolling around on the floor and and getting lots doggy kisses.  Cats are welcome, too!  Get some gorgeous images of your fur babies and do something good for our community at the same time.  Our annual pet charity event, Warm Hearts for Wagging Tails, collects pet food, treats and chew toys in lieu of session fees for local animals in need. 

All donations will go to East Stokes Outreach Ministry in Walnut Cove, NC.

Saturday, January 14th, 2017
10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Please bring two small bags of dog or cat food for each pet being photographed as payment for your session fee.  Prints and digital negatives are sold separately.  Sessions last 15 minutes and space is very limited and books up fast each year.  Call early to reserve your furry family member's spot!  

An appointment is required for this special charity event!

2016 Halloween Food Drive Results

Every year, we celebrate Halloween with a fun charity food drive at our studio - this is our 9th year - and once again, we are so grateful to have the amazing clients that we have who participate in our event and help out our community :-)  

We loved seeing old clients and catching up, and meeting new clients and seeing all the costumes!  My husband even dressed up this year (RARE!) as Tina from Bob's Burgers - which shocked everyone, including myself, but we all got a good laugh at him in a skirt and wig. I had a hard time keeping a straight face throughout the evening!

6th Annual Warm Hearts for Wagging Tails { pet photographers winston salem }

 It's time for our 6th annual pet charity event and food drive! I look forward to this event every year, when I get to spend a day rolling around on the floor and and getting lots doggy kisses. Halloween Food Drive - We did it!

 

 

We did it!  We surpassed our food count collection amount this year by 75 items - we collected 247 total items for the food pantry at East Stokes Outreach Ministry!  I am so excited that we were able to collect even more food at our Halloween food drive this year than last year - and we couldn't have done it without our amazing clients.  You guys are so wonderful - sending a huge { thank you } and hugs to each and every one of you who brought your little one in their costume and participated this year.

We dropped the food off at the Outreach Ministry on Friday morning, the day after our food drive, and everyone was so grateful for the donations.  We have been seeing posts in our newsfeed on Facebook from the Outreach Ministry that their pantry is extremely low and they've had to turn people away.  We hate to see things like that happen - you don't have to wait for our food drive each year to donate...you can donate any time of the year to their pantry, and they can definitely use it :-)

  Six years of our annual food drive, and we've collected more and more food each year.  I truly enjoy having the opportunity to do this every year - spending time catching up with clients, meeting new people, and being able to give back to the community at the same time means the world to me.  Again, we wouldn't be able to do this without the thoughtful and caring people who attend our event each year - THANK YOU guys!  I am really looking forward to doing it again next year!
