I have to chat about this sweet maternity photography session.
It was a fun challenge for us! We shot the majority of the session in our studio using only available natural light - no flash and no studio lighting - and I shot with my new 70-200 L series lens. I had to stand all the way on the far wall against the fireplace in the waiting area and shoot through the french doors of the studio to get full bodies in the frame! But the shots turned out so gorgeous - we shot everything inside in black and white only, but I was able to convince my client to let me do a couple of color shots outdoors. Our ornamental cherry tree was in FULL bloom and covered in fluffy pink blossoms, and this pretty mama-to-be is having a girl, so I thought the light, her clothing and the fluffy pink blooms would be super fitting and feminine :)
