Every year, we celebrate Halloween with a fun charity food drive at our studio - this is our 9th year - and once again, we are so grateful to have the amazing clients that we have who participate in our event and help out our community :-)
We loved seeing old clients and catching up, and meeting new clients and seeing all the costumes! My husband even dressed up this year (RARE!) as Tina from Bob's Burgers - which shocked everyone, including myself, but we all got a good laugh at him in a skirt and wig. I had a hard time keeping a straight face throughout the evening!
Oh my goodness, you guys, I am so happy to say that our final count came to 428 items! That is over double what we've collected in previous years! We are so excited to have the opportunity to do this event every year for East Stokes Outreach Ministry. You guys are so amazing and I can't thank each and every one of you enough for caring about the community and participating in our event this year!
We're currently working on images this afternoon and will be emailing them out as quick as we can. All of the food has been sorted and dropped off at the food pantry and they were so happy to see us! Look for an email from us in late Winter/early Spring for our Annual Pet Food Drive which will also benefit East Stokes Outreach Ministry. We hope to see you again!
