2012 Halloween Charity - Best EVER!

BEST.  YEAR.   EVER.

We had SO much fun at our 2012 Halloween Charity and Open House!

We had lots of uber cute goblins stop by the studio and their parents brought lots of canned and boxed goods to be donated to East Stokes Outreach Ministry! We are SO happy to let you guys know that this year has been our biggest yet, and we more than DOUBLED our collection amount from last year!  I'm so excited to have such wonderful clients that participated - we were able to collect 172 items to go to needy families in our area! Thank everyone SO much for thinking about those in need and participating in our event!





Thanks again to everyone who participated! 172 items - that's so exciting guys! We SERIOUSLY have the best clients ever!

2012 Annual Halloween Charity & Open House

With your help, we can make a difference and knock out hunger!

We're so excited that it's this time of year again! This will be our 5th year doing this fun annual charity event!

no appointment necessary * no session fee * images posted online * treats for the kids

Bring your child or pet to our studio on Halloween evening in their Halloween costume and have their photo taken to be entered into our Halloween photo contest! Images will be posted on Facebook for voting and the child or pet with the most “likes” for the cutest costume will win a free 20 minute mini session at our studio!

Halloween Day - October 31st, 2012

4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

*What’s the cost? A bag of canned food to benefit local families in need!

We are partnering with East Stokes Outreach Ministry to bring smiles to hundreds of local people in need — share a meal, help save a life!

*We're requiring a FULL BAG of canned food to participate this year, so we can be of more help to those who need it. No out-of-date donations or glass jars, please.

Halloween was a blast! { WINSTON SALEM CHILDREN'S PHOTOGRAPHER }

We had SO much fun at our 2011 Halloween Charity and Open House!

My husband got all Martha Stewart and made these adorable googly-eyed pumpkins as an alternative to the classic triangle eyed jack-o-lanterns...



Who would have known they would be SO time consuming though? Geez!







Okay, so I swiped this bird idea out of Pottery Barn's October catalog :)



I brought in real leaves from our Sugar Maples out front - SO VIBRANT!

It's that time of the year again!

Bring your child or pet to our Open House in their Halloween costume for treats, and have their photo taken to be entered into our photo contest. Images will be posted on Facebook and the child or pet with the most "likes" at the end of the week will win a free mini session at our studio! Images will also be uploaded in an online gallery and available for purchase.

I had a BLAST with "M" and her mom! "M" was the winner of our Mommy and Me Facebook contest a couple of weeks ago - and her mom had NO IDEA that she had been entered. They made me laugh the WHOLE time I was shooting - mom did NOT like having her picture taken, so they were both giggly about the session. I really enjoyed doing this session :-)

Remember the fun mini sessions and contest we had for Mother's Day? We're doing it for a special dad or grand-dad, too ♥

Father's Day is June 19th!

Dads are our protectors, our idols, and our best friends. We want to dedicate a day of sessions just for them!

Introducing Daddy and Me Limited Edition Mini Sessions! A session just for fathers (and grandfathers) to document the joy of fatherhood! For dads and children, dads and their dads, grandfathers and grandchildren, or all three generations!

Session fee is only $35 for 20 minutes and being ONE DAY ONLY, sessions are VERY LIMITED (only 8 available!). Our sessions will be outdoors (weather permitting) at our studio.

Saturday, June 18th, 2011, from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

We're also celebrating with a contest!
We're giving away a FREE mini session and 8x10 print to a very special father!

Here's how to enter:

Halloween Charity & Open House

We had a blast at our Halloween Charity and Open House event on Sunday! We got lots of cute shots of little ones and even a doggie to be entered into our Facebook contest for a free mini session. Our grand total of canned goods collected was 82, including pet and people food.
