They're back!  Our Valentine minis were a huge hit last year, so we're offering them again this year with an extra set! One set features a fun, colorful heart patterned backdrop and red chair, and our second set features a shabby rustic door, antique worn chair and a themed Valentine bunting made by our friend at Dinner Time Chimes!

WHAT TO WEAR ::
The boys - A simple white top and jeans are classic, but a fun blazer and newsboy cap would be super adorable for little guys!

Sophie's Cake Smash { winston salem cake smash photographers }

Miss Sophie's Cake Smash session was so much fun!  Her mom and I planned for months on colors, the outfit, the theme, and I am so excited to share how adorable her session turned out!

First, we must start with an uber cute clean photo - which has actually ended up as a 20x24 canvas in my studio.  I am in love with this innocent expression Sophie has and her cute little finger at her lips!  Ah, can't...stand...the...cuteness!  GAH!

 

 

So once we had the "clean" shots finished, we wanted to do a couple in a birthday outfit before getting messy - but Sophie had other plans for us!  As soon as we sat the cake down, she grabbed a handful of icing!

Finally, the mess began with her in an adorable zebra and hot pink onesie.  She didn't hesitate to dive into the cake - and she was more interested in playing with it than eating the sweetness, I think ;-)  She grabbed the ribbons from the balloons and smeared them all in the icing.  Got huge handfuls of icing and smeared it in the cracks of the floor.  Decided to stand and step in the cake, but there was SO much icing all over the floor that my husband had to help her stand so she didn't slide into a split.  Haha!

 

 

The last shot was too funny - she plopped down to sit, right in the middle of her cake.  Splat!  And yes, I snapped the shot!  I couldn't resist :-)

Christmas Family Photography Sessions { winston salem family photographers }

 

The leaves have fallen, the smell of gingerbread fills the air, greenery adorns railings and wreaths dress-up doors, and I just bought red lip gloss...the holidays are HERE!

Thanksgiving is late this year, which gives us an extra week to plan our Thanksgiving party, but that means that Christmas will be here one week sooner than usual, giving us even LESS time to get our shopping done! I realize that I have one less week to procrastinate this year on finding the perfect gifts for our families.

Family portraits are a fun, easy gift that parents and grandparents will love! Photo ornaments, framed prints, bragbooks - just to name a few. We're booking our Holiday Family Minis now through December 14th in gorgeous locations such as Old Salem, Tanglewood Park and other festive locations in the Triad.

Fantabulous 30 minute mini family photography sessions are available outdoors at a location of your choice in Winston Salem, Clemmons, Greensboro, High Point or any other location in the Triad!
(weather permitting - in the case of rain or storms, your session will be rescheduled)

CHRISTMAS MINI SESSIONS { winston salem children's photographer }

 

 

Get into the holiday spirit with our Limited Edition Winter Wonderland mini session! 

Exclusively ours, this fun Winter Wonderland Christnas themed mini features a snowy scene, falling snow and an optional visit from Santa!

November 1st - December 14th
10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m - daily
by appointment only
 

*Session Fee is $35.00 for one child for a 20 minute “mini” session, with an optional appearance by Santa! Please add $5 for each additional child in the same session.  *Prints and products purchased separately.

*Santa’s visit is optional.  We like to keep a positive atmosphere for children, thus if your child does not want to see Santa, please do not force them to. 
*Please let us know at the time of booking if you want Santa so we can accommodate.

 

Recommended ages 6 months (sitting up) to 6 years.

{ WHAT TO WEAR }

SIMPLE - We recommend a wintery outfit for this fun, Winter Wonderland-themed indoor session.  We suggest dressing your child in a snow-ready outfit with boots, hat and scarf.

COLORFUL - a fun, bright scarf and hat are preferred!

SANTA - Christmas pj's would be cute!

FORMAL - Formal clothing is NOT suggested for this theme. 

{ SESSION and ORDERING DEADLINES }

*Please note: We will NOT be booking or shooting any holiday sessions after Saturday, December 14th to allow us time to get caught up on edits.  All print orders must be finalized by Saturday, December 16 to ensure holiday delivery.  Please take this into consideration when booking your session with us!

*Custom Framing must be ordered no later than November 29th to ensure delivery on or before December 21st.
*Custom Ornaments and Jewelry must be ordered by December 1st or we can not promise that it will arrive in time for the holidays.
*Fine Art Canvas Gallery Wraps must be ordered by Saturday, December 7th.
*I'm sure you know that custom products (such as Holiday cards, Storyboards, Accordion Albums, and Storybooks/Brag Books) DO take a couple of days for creation, editing, proofing and making changes, etc., especially during busy times, such as the holidays. These customized products HAVE TO BE FINALIZED and sent to print by Monday, December 16th in order to get them back before Christmas.
*All other prints and mounted prints must be ordered by Monday, December 16th in order to get them back before Christmas.

The studio will be open for pick-ups (by appointment only) through Friday, December 20th at 5pm, and then we will be closed throughout the holidays and will not reopen until Thursday, January 2nd, 2014.
