The M Maternity Session { maternity photographers in winston salem nc }

I'm always excited to get the opportunity to go to a new location.  Don't get me wrong, I love working in the studio and being able to control the lighting, but it is always fun to have a new challenge, such as shooting on the top of a mountain in the middle of Summer under the bright direct sunlight :)  This fun couple wanted to shoot their maternity session in the vineyards where they were married - what a sweet idea!

The property at Raffaldini Vineyards was just gorgeous - the weather wasn't too hot, there was a breeze, and their session turned out beautiful!

Ellie is Two! { child photographers in winston-salem }

Is Ellie really two already?  It really feels like we shot her newborn session only a couple of months ago (you might remember it here).

Talk about giggly and chatty - she's grown up SO much in the past couple of months!  When we saw her at our Mommy and Me minis, she was still pretty quiet.  She's developed her vocabulary and she's got the sweetest personality!  And, funny - she will not take a piece of candy from us to eat, but she will hold her mouth open for us to feed it to her in-between shots, haha!  Independent, yes - Ellie would not insist on anything other than blowing the bubbles all by herself!  Of course she had to taste them, too :)

Sweet Alaena Turns 3! { child photographers in winston-salem }

Ahhh!  I can't believe I accidentally deleted this post!  I lost my whole original post, including text, so I'm keeping this short and sweet and focusing on showcasing the sweet images from Miss Alaena's three year session.

She told us some super funny stories that I'm STILL laughing about (she thought the stories were funny, too, resulting in that cute shot above!) and cooperated so well for us!  She always does!  We've been working with her and her mom since her first birthday and cake smash session.  Since it's been rainy ALL summer, my husband and I have been stuck inside crafting and creating things - like this sweet purple set for Alaena's session!  I made the backdrop, matching headband and polka-dot canvas with a glittery number three, and my husband made and upholstered a sweet matching Alaena sized ottoman.

Everything turned out perfect!  Love it!

Back to School Mini Sessions { child photographers winston salem }

Is Summer break really winding down already?
I feel like I'm publishing the post way too early, but there's less than a month until school starts this year! I haven't even ventured into the school supply aisles in any of the stores, or gotten any of my son's school clothes yet! Oh my gosh, and did I mention that I'm going to have a 10th grader on my hands this year?

Vacations are ending as the summer comes to a close and our appointment book is filling up with family sessions! This fall, we've decided to offer a new mini session theme, just for the littles! If your child is starting school, entering a new grade, or even starting preschool, how adorable would a Back-to-School themed session be to remember this milestone?

This fun Back to School theme features a rustic, antique desk and chalkboard, vintage props and fun school themed accessories.

Session Fee is just $85 and includes a 15 minute mini session for one child,
(1) 5x7 Signature Print, (2) 4x6 Signature Prints and (1) Set of 8 wallets.

Additional prints, collections and products purchased separately.
*Please add $5 for each additional child in the same session.

Sweet A Saving Up Smiles { winston salem newborn photographers }

A quick post to share some shots of the sweetest little girl...who saved up all of her smiles for the end of the session :-)

I was super excited to meet this little one!  We'd been working with her parents on their baby plan, and had just shot their maternity session a couple of weeks before.  They were so easy going with fun personalities, and I knew Sweet A would be, too.

She slept well, of course after she got her snacking out of the way, and was up for whatever we tried.  She loved nestling down in the basket - or maybe it was the teal colors that made her smile.  Either way, I was happy to capture all of her sweetness throughout the whole session!
