Curly, Three Stooges & Dogs - Fun Doggie Fact

Just a fun tidbit for the day. With our doggie charity event coming up, I wanted to share some dog related posts!

I am strangely a huge fan of the Three Stooges. I love Curly's crazy antics and falls, and floor spins and spazz outs over cheese and mice. I ran across this photo a while back and wanted to share some fun info about him!

Of course, I'm sure you know about Curly's strokes and the aftermath, and that he was later replaced by his brother Shemp in the show, so I'll skip all that. I thought it was interesting that he was crazy about dogs! Dogs have always had a big role in humans lives - and I always love stumbling across stuff like this photo. After his health had declined, Curly stayed at his home and spent lots of time with his dogs, Lady, Salty and Shorty :) Once he entered the hospital, he missed his dog, Lady, and asked Moe to bring her to the hospital to stay with him. It's a sad story, but it's wonderful to know that having his dogs brought happiness and comfort to him through his declining health.

3rd Annual WARM HEARTS for WAGGING TAILS

Because pets make our lives whole. Charity and giving is a big part of our life and our studio - we always give when we can, and we try to do a couple studio events each year to collect food for people in need - this event is specifically for the FUZZY people in need. It's terrifying that so many pets are being deserted and dropped off at shelters because their humans can no longer afford to feed them. This will be our third year doing this warm & fuzzy pet promotion.

Lend a helping paw to those without a voice!

The condition of today’s economy isn’t only affecting humans. It’s also leaving thousands of pets and homeless animals hungry and on the streets. What can you do to help?

Handsome Little "J" { Winston Salem Baby Photographers }

Little "J" was such a cute - and sweet - little guy! He was just 2 & 1/2 months old, but very tall already, and had lots of dark hair - and the brightest brown eyes! He was really into the cute hootie owl that I sat beside the basket we nestled him in, so into it in fact, that we had to hide it away because he didn't want to stop looking at it :)

Wee Little "C" { Winston Salem Newborn Photographers }

We SO enjoyed working with little "C" and her mommy, and little "C"'s 3 big sisters! "C"'s mommy decided it would be much easier to get everyone together and in one place if we brought our studio to them, so we did! We brought lots of blankets, hats, headbands, furs, wraps, the list goes on and on :) We had a blast working with them, and trying to get a shot of the four girls together (all under the age of 7!). We had some funny mishaps along the way that we weren't quite prepared for, but it was still a fun morning, and we got some gorgeous shots of little "C" - she was such a tiny and petite little birdie!
